𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐫'𝐬 𝐛𝐢𝐨:

Carlos Casanova is the Managing Director and Senior Economist, Asia at Union Bancaire Privée (UBP). Based in Hong Kong, he leads UBP’s macroeconomic research in Asia and plays a pivotal role in shaping the firm’s global economic framework and investment strategies. With a career spanning roles at Coface, Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria (BBVA), and the European Commission, Carlos brings a wealth of experience in analyzing economic trends and their implications for businesses. He holds an MA in International Economics from Johns Hopkins University and a BA Joint Honours from the University of London. Fluent in Mandarin Chinese, English, and Spanish, Carlos is a sought-after expert in the field of economics.
