MECC 11th Anniversary Reception

On 29 November, FMCC had the pleasure of attending the MECC 11th Anniversary Reception at the Baccara Ballroom, Sofitel Macau at Ponte 16. As one of the founding members of MECC, FMCC was proud to celebrate the strong ties between Macau and the European business community, in the presence of diplomats and government officials from Macau and Hengqin.

Portugal’s Consul General in Macau and Hong Kong, Alexandre Leitão, addressed the gathering, underscoring the importance of continued collaboration between Macau and Europe. MECC President Rui Pedro Cunha also highlighted the significance of the new multiple-entry policy for Zhuhai residents, emphasizing its potential benefits for local businesses. The reception coincided with the 75th anniversary of the People's Republic of China and the 25th anniversary of the Macao SAR, with high expectations for the new Chief Executive, Sam Hou Fai, and his cabinet to foster international collaboration.
